Dryer request in San Francisco

We received a service request in San Francisco for a malfunctioning dryer. The customer reported that the dryer “is giving an error code (D80) and turns off before cycles are complete.”

When our technician arrived on the scene, he conducted a thorough diagnosis and identified an issue with the vent line. Upon investigation, it became clear that the previous repair workers had simply patched a hole in the vent line without addressing the root cause of the problem.
